Fund kidney disease screening for all over 50’s
Kidney disease is a silent killer. It has little to no symptoms in the beginning stages. Many people are unaware of having kidney disease until either they are having a check-up for other health problems or until the disease has progressed to an advanced stage.
Kidney disease can grow rapidly leaving patients in a lot of pain and suffering with very little option left to prolong their lives. If regular screening for kidney disease is offered, then many lives can be saved and prolonged.

How Did I Find Out About My Kidney Issues?
My personal story began May 2011.
It was a lovely sunny day in the New Forest, where my husband John and I were sitting in our back garden.
He looked at me and asked if I felt OK?
I said I was fine, but he insisted that I ought to have some blood tests taken and subsequently, he got on the phone to the secretary at the GP surgery, explained how I looked and arranged for the Full Blood Tests to be ordered
